Our Story
We’re Dani and Jake Trainor, the owners of Happy Yards Pet Waste Removal.
Before launching Happy Yards, we spent years caring for animals through Dani’s Pet Care, which we launched in 2015. Dani's Pet care has earned over 80 five-star reviews across multiple platforms through dependable service, and genuine care for our clients and their pets. Over time, we worked with many dogs through pet sitting, dog walking and daycare, and one thing became very clear: waste builds up fast.
When you have dogs in your yard everyday, cleanup never really ends. It piles up quickly, gets unpleasant quickly, and can be hard to stay on top of when life is busy. After seeing that firsthand, starting Happy Yards Pet Waste Removal felt like a natural next step.
We created Happy Yards Pet Waste Removal to offer dog owners a simple, affordable way to keep their yards clean and usable without having to deal with the mess themselves. A Winthrop native, Dani previously worked at a local law office as a Legal Administrative Assistant and Records Manager before building her pet care business. At Happy Yards Pet Waste Removal, she handles customer inquiries, scheduling, and the day-to-day communication that keeps everything running smoothly.
Jake Trainor
Field Tech
Jake worked in construction and property maintenance before helping to launch Happy Yards Pet Waste Removal. At Happy Yards, he handles the in-person service side of the business, including meeting customers and taking care of their cleanups.
